Private Parties & Events 

The Mad Hatters is open Wednesday through Saturday from 8am - 5pm.
We are also available other days and evenings for:

There is a nominal building fee for events scheduled on a non business day.

The menu may be selected from our in restaurant menu or any of our catering menus. Or we will gladly make your favorite dish.

You may bring your own wine to be served. The Tables are always beautifully dressed with lace overlays and fine china. Tablecloths and centerpieces change with the season. You may also bring your own table décor if you prefer. The Tearoom has a maximum seating of 50.

Menu includes:
Savories: Our famous chicken salad and cucumber finger sandwiches creamy quiche
Scones: Buttery melt-in your mouth pecan and apricot scones
Pastries: Lemon squares, poppy seed shortbread cookies and miniature chocolate tarts

Children's Dress-Up Birthday Tea Parties 

Our Dress-Up Tea Party girls choose their "special look" from our large selections of vintage flower girl, bridesmaid's dresses and formals. Adding accessories of jewelry, boas and scarves and gloves are a must for the young fashionistas. Then finding the right lipstick, eye shadow, nail color and having it applied is always fun and feels really grown up.

The young ladies then take their seats around the Tea table to hear a story about hats or tea parties. Sandwiches in the shape of a teapot or tea cup, fruit, chips and our secret recipe tea is served on vintage china plates and cups. Most parties are booked on Saturdays at 10:00 am or 2:30 pm. A minimum of 5 children is required with a maximum of 12.

Ever wish that your lipstick would stay on all day? Well come meet the Lipstick Lady and your wish will come true. Particular about the color you wear? She can match your favorite color so bring it with you. And remember lipstick can fix anything!

Mother's Day Tea

Honor your mom while creating a memory to cherish by taking her to Tea at the Madhatter's. Delicious 3 course English Tea includes Savories, Scones and Pastries. Each Mom receives a complimentary $10.00 Gift certificate. Seating at 11:00, 12:30 and 2:00. Please call for reservations.

Oct. has Breast Cancer Awareness Tea and Fashion Show 

In October we will have our annual Pink Ribbon and Roses English Tea and Fashion Show to benefit Susan Komen Breast Cancer Research. We will probably do it Oct. 22 this year.

We do it by appointment and there are 3 seating's 11:00 and 12:30 and 2 pm. 25% of the cost is donated to Susan Komen. And guests get and coupon for 20% off any one fashion item of their choice along with a book mark that explains how to correctly do a self breast exam.

November is our Anniversary 

We will have an open house with refreshments and Special Sale. November 8

December is Christmas Open House 

We always do something in December but have done different things and usually with the other downtown merchants.
